The Seafood Connection will have Albacore Tuna available this weekend! For people who want to buy tuna, I will be back in early Sunday morning or possibly sooner. You can call the store to reserve some super fresh, first of the season Albacore Tuna. The price will be $1.99 per pound for whole fish. If you want your fish filleted, there is a $3 per fish fillet charge. If you have any questions, call Rich at the store at 360-268-1628. I\'ve got to go, we just hooked three more fish!

Kings, Kites and Canning Tuna

I'm going to stick my next out and predict that within a month we will see a 7 day per week fishery and maybe even another limit raise by September. Wouldn't that be nice.

722 Westport currently has two periods left on the calendar. July 21 - 23 and August 16 - 25. For the Auaust period we are looking for a minimum of one week. If you grab all 10 we'll try and make a deal you can't refuse!

The year of the Kings!

King Salmon fishing opened on the 12th in Westport. Weather was poor for the first few days but that has changed. 20+ boats are limiting every fishable day!

Ocean Salmon Opener June 12th


Excitment is building within the Westport community. This Saturday a special King Salmon Fishery opens 7 days a week through the 30th with a two fish limit!
Following the June action, the regular Salmon fishery will open July 4 - September 19 (Sunday through Thursday) or until the quota is exhausted.
You can keep track of the updated action through the Westport Charterboat Assoc. website!
